If you are talking about the horse and that's it's first time being saddled, then why are you putting a baby on it? I wouldn't even have any type of weight on an 8 month old horse.

The History of The Cowboys of Color Rodeo

Cowboys of Color Rodeos are an outgrowth of the Texas Black Rodeo Association founded by Mr. Cleo Hearn, a legendary calf roper from Seminole, Oklahoma. Mr. Hearn, a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association since 1959, is the founder and producer of the Cowboys of Color Rodeos. Now living in Lancaster, Texas, Hearn and his four sons work together to produce the Cowboys of Color Rodeo Tour. In 2000, with a group of friends and associates he began taking the rodeo to cities throughout the Southwest. Fans in Oklahoma City, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Mesquite and now Tulsa can enjoy entertainment, competition and cultural history. Today, cowboys and cowgirls of all colors perfect their skills and win prize money or just enjoy a Western lifestyle.
